Hewlett Gets New Education Director
Barbara Chow will join the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation in Menlo Park, Calif., as director of its education program. She replaces Marshall S. “Mike” Smith, who has been the program director since 2001, when she starts the job on Nov. 3. Ms. Chow now serves as the policy director for the budget committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.
