Ronn Robinson has been named the director of state implementation for the New Commission on the Skills of the American Workforce, an arm of the Washington-based National Center on Education and the Economy. Mr. Robinson was most recently the senior vice president and corporate secretary for Achieve, a Washington-based nonprofit organization that aims to raise academic standards, improve assessment programs, and strengthen accountability in schools.
