Illinois to Get Interim Chief
Christopher Koch, the director of special education for Illinois’ state education agency, will be the interim state superintendent of education. He will serve in that role starting in December, when Superintendent Randy J. Dunn is scheduled to leave to become the president of Murray State University in Kentucky. The search for a permanent replacement for Mr. Dunn is continuing, a state education spokeswoman said.
