The Rev. Steven E. Boes is the new executive director of Girls and Boys Town. He is only the fourth executive director in the nonprofit organization’s 88-year history.
Father Boes, 46, a Roman Catholic priest, previously served as the director of the St. Augustine Indian Mission, a K-8 school for Native American children in Winnebago, Neb.
Girls and Boys Town, based in Boys Town, Neb., is a national youth-services organization that serves 43,000 children at 19 sites in 15 states and the District of Columbia.
