Richard DeLisi, a national expert on gender differences in learning, has been appointed the dean of the graduate school of education at Rutgers University.
Mr. DeLisi, 53, the acting dean since July 2003, will formally assume the role Jan. 18. Before becoming dean, Mr. DeLisi served as the chairman of the department of educational psychology and was the graduate program director of the Ph.D. in education program.
The New Brunswick, N.J.-based graduate school of education has 1,300 students.
