Eleven states will select governors on Election Day this November. Six states— including five that also have gubernatorial races this fall—will elect a state education chief. And voters in seven states will pass judgment on measures related to elementary and secondary education that were placed on the statewide ballot either through a vote of the legislature or the citizen-initiative process.
