A young driver from Bridgewater-Raritan (N.J.) High School tries to avoid obstacles in a car that gives students a taste of what it’s like to drive under the influence of alcohol. The Drunken Driving Simulator is a modified Plymouth Neon that allows a driving instructor to use an on-board computer to alter the braking and steering controls and to mimic the slow response times and exaggerated movements of an intoxicated driver.
