Migrant Education

The Education Department announced in the Dec. 21 Federal Register that it will fund projects designed to improve coordination of migrant-education programs among states and school districts. Applications are due Feb. 12.

Final Rules

In the Dec. 18 Federal Register, the Education Department published student-aid rules that expand the procedural rights of schools.

The Education Department listed 43 tests in the Dec. 30 Federal Register that schools can use to measure high school dropouts’ “ability to benefit’’ from higher education.

Final Rules

The Education Department published in the Dec. 18 Federal Register updated rules for the sale or lease of surplus federal land and facilities to schools.
