When you think about the highs and lows of teaching and how they affect your morale, does your experience match that of your peers? Now, EdWeek offers you the chance to find out.

The EdWeek Research Center has developed the Teacher Morale Index, a measure of teachers’ enthusiasm that is based on how educators describe their current morale, their feelings from a year ago, and their expectations for their morale a year from now.

Our quiz invites you to answer the same three questions put to a nationally representative sample of more than 5,000 teachers in a survey last fall. You’ll get your own Teacher Morale Index score that you can compare to the overall score for teachers nationally and the overall score for teachers in your state.
