I know many of you may be able to subsist merely on leftovers of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, cheesy mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cheesy bread, corn bread, corn on the cob, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and possibly even the terrible Sbarro’s pizza pie you brought home from the mall on Black Friday.
But in case that’s not enough to get you through your Thanksgiving weekend, here’s some ed-tech morsels to digest.
• Keith Krueger, the chief executive officer at the Washington-based Consortium for School Networking, is featured in an interview airing on CNN Headline News throughout the rest of the week. In the interview—part of the Comcast Newsmakers series—Krueger discusses the educational potential of mobile learning technology.
The 5-minute segment airs twice daily on Headline News for the rest of the week, and is also available on YouTube. A schedule of air times is available on CoSN’s press release.
• The National Science Foundation has published an online series that examines cyberbullying and how to stop it. The three-part series, in order, defines what a cyberbully is, examines how to identify a cyberbully, and lends advice on how to foil a cyberbully. You’ll also find assorted related video interviews from experts.
• Lastly, you’ll have to wait until after the weekend is over, but if you’re unable to make next week’s sold-out Ed Tech Business Forum in New York, hosted by the Software and Information Industry Association, you can still attend the conference virtually next Monday and Tuesday.
