Physics can be daunting for many students, but educators on the Physics Bus are trying to change that. Educators on the big silver bus showcase novel exhibits built out of everyday items, demonstrating concepts like motion and electricity and making science fun and appealing to students.
Education Week caught up with the bus when it stopped at P.S. 166 in Queens, N.Y. Watch as educator Claire Hope Fox demonstrates how to build a hovercraft intended to guide lessons about airflow and friction.
