On March 16th, President Trump released his first budget for the 2018 fiscal year. The proposal seeks to cut Department of Education’s funding by 13 percent, while investing in school choice. Under Trump’s budget, a number of long-standing federal programs could be significantly reduced or eliminated. What does this mean for schools?
