The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation and the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation have awarded Education Pioneers with a $6 million grant to triple the number of top graduate students the nonprofit recruits to become leaders in urban education.

Education Pioneers operates a summer fellows program that recruits and trains graduate students from business, education, law, and public policy programs to work in education. With the grant money, Education Pioneers will increase the number of fellows and grow its alumni network.
