The global pandemic and economic recession are putting a severe strain on students’ (and educators’) social, emotional, and mental well-being. In this webinar, our experts will discuss how schools can meet students’ rising emotional and mental health needs through social-emotional learning—whether remotely or in-person—so students are prepared to tackle their academics.

As the superintendent of El Paso Public Schools and the head of practice and programs at the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, our experts will share strategies and advice from on-the-ground and national perspectives.

Speakers
Juan Cabrera
Superintendent, El Paso Independent School District, Texas
Melissa Schlinger
Vice President of Practice and Programs Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)
Moderator
Arianna Prothero covers technology, student well-being, and the intersection of the two for Education Week.
