William J. Bushaw

William J. Bushaw has been named the executive director of Phi Delta Kappa International.

William J. Bushaw

Mr. Bushaw, 55, who will start his new job Oct. 1, serves now as the director of the learning-systems division at the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Merit Network Inc., a nonprofit research and education network governed by Michigan’s public universities. He will succeed George F. Kersey Jr., 58, who retired from PDK in June, after 5 years as the executive director.

The Bloomington, Ind.-based pdk is a professional association that provides research and information about education to more than 70,000 educators and education students worldwide.
