Top Education Videos of 2016: Education Week’s Most Viewed

In 2016, Education Week expanded our video storytelling efforts. And thanks to a partnership with PBS NewsHour, our video stories have reached an even wider audience. This year, we used video to offer a glimpse into a multilingual high school, to highlight the challenges facing schools with large immigrant populations, and to better explain important education issues.

1. A Day in the Life of a Multilingual High School

At Pennsylvania's Upper Darby High School in suburban Philadelphia, more than 15 languages are spoken in a student body of nearly 4,000. To help support such a diverse array of English-language learners, the school created a peer tutoring program. (May 11, 2016)
