Supporters of vouchers were handed a victory yesterday when Oklahoma’s Supreme Court rejected an effort to block a private school choice progam for students with disabilities.
The legal challenge had been brought by a pair of Oklahoma school districts who had argued that the program violates provisions in the state’s constitution that don’t allow taxpayer funds to flow to private, religious schools. See my colleague Nirvi Shah’s post on the On Special Education blog for more details and background on the court battle.
