Comprehensive Literacy Bill Reintroduced

Those of you who have been following our coverage of the federal budget cuts in literacy will be interested to know that the LEARN Act, a comprehensive literacy bill, has been reintroduced on Capitol Hill.

My colleague Alyson Klein has details and context for you over at the Politics K-12 blog. The bill, introduced yesterday, is an attempt to fill the vacuum created by recent budget cuts, which hit literacy programs particularly hard.
