Squishy Evidence of Single-Sex Success

This article from Beaver Dam, Wis., (love the name) is typical of what I see in news coverage: We like what we see from our single-sex experiment...no improvement in test scores, but we like what we see. What does that mean?

This is why the federal Department of Education needs to step in to evaluate the grand experiment it launched three years ago. Is this really working, and if so, what makes it work?
