The inaugural winner of the Education Week Gregory M. Chronister Journalism Fellowship has been announced. Alex Granados of EducationNC will use the fellowship to report on migrant agricultural families in North Carolina and their children's experience in school.
Editorial Projects in Education Inc. (EPE) announced the Gregory M. Chronister Journalism Fellowship this fall. It is awarded annually to an enterprising journalist in support of a reporting project that illuminates a significant issue in pre-K-12 education.
The fellowship is meant to honor and reflect the now-retired Gregory M. Chronister, a longtime Education Week editor.
