What Teachers Think About Snow Days

With “snowmageddon” potentially extending the school year for some Northeast and Mid-Atlantic school districts, the Washington Post’s Answer Sheet blog spoke with teachers to find out how they really feel about snow days.

While the responses varied, one thing remained a constant: Teachers uniformly considered the missed time “a hit to learning,” and wondered how administrative decisions to make up the missed time would adversely affect their lives.
