Here’s a tidbit of news from the American Educational Research Association conference: Judith Warren Little has been named dean of the graduate school of education at the University of California, Berkeley.

A longtime researcher in the field, Warren Little is best known for her work on professional learning communities. She currently holds the Carol Liu Chair in Educational Policy at Berkeley and will replace P. David Pearson. Generously, the press release also shares with us her new salary. It’s $205,000 a year.
