Important Notice to Our Valued Subscribers Regarding Unauthorized Renewal Notices

Education Weekhas been alerted that some subscribers have received improper and unauthorized subscription-renewal notices. Currently, these notices are coming from a company doing business under several names, including US Periodicals, Publishers Billing Center, Publishers Payment Center, Periodical Billing Services, United Publishers Services, and a host of others. These unauthorized companies are generally operating out of Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, or Florida. If you have received a notice to renew your subscription from any company other than Education Week, please DO NOT RESPOND AND DO NOT SEND PAYMENT. Renewals or payments for Education Week subscriptions are made payable to Education Week, and sent to P.O. Box 3005 in Langhorne, Pa., 19047 or completed directly on the Education Week website. If payment is being requested under any name other than Education Week, then it is not authorized.

If you receive a solicitation for renewal from a company you suspect is not authorized by Education Week, please notify us as quickly as possible at unauthorized-renewal@epe.org. Provide as much detail about the mailing as you can, and a scan of any document, including the outside envelope, if possible. You may also call our customer care number at 1-800-445-8250 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Eastern if you are concerned about the status of your subscription.

We recommend that you also report the fraud to your state Attorney General's office, the United States Postal Service, or other law enforcement agency.
