Common Core and Professional Development: Survey Results

In February 2015, the RAND Corp. surveyed its American Teacher Panel, a random selection of 1,129 K-12 teachers, on current professional-development needs, focusing on topics related to the Common Core State Standards. The tables below show the percentages of teachers who said they had a high or moderate need for PD in the topics listed. The chart below looks at the amount of time teachers said they have for collaboration; most teachers also said they have limited opportunities to give or receive feedback on lessons.
