One sign of online learning’s increasing legitimacy was the awarding of this fall’s first-ever National Online Teacher of the Year Award.
If you know of an instructor that should be considered for the second annual award, your deadline to nominate them is Monday.
Teresa Dove, a Virginia resident and a math teacher at the Florida Virtual School, won last year’s honor ahead of finalists from the Gwinnett County (Georgia) Online Campus and Virtual Virginia.
More information is available at the websites of the International Association for K-12 Online Learning or the Southern Regional Education Board, which co-founded the award.
