You probably already know that the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, or PARCC, released draft content frameworks in math and English/language arts earlier this month. Our storyabout the frameworks says that they would be open for public comment until Aug. 17, and possibly later. PARCC folks tell me they’ve now set Aug. 31 as the closing day for public comment, so if you want to weigh in, that’s your timeframe.
The SMARTER Balanced Assessment Consortium, which, like PARCC, is designing tests for the common standards, released draft content specifications that are open for a first round of commentuntil Aug. 29.
