Education Week‘s annual showcase of talented, boundary-breaking school district leaders—Leaders To Learn From—culminates in a live event that puts these outstanding leaders, their stories, and their work in tackling some of K-12 education’s biggest issues in front of their peers who come to learn from them.
Our 2019 event featured an array of dynamic leaders and other education experts, some of whom we’ve captured on video.
So take a spin through the collection to hear passionate, blunt talk on segregated schooling from New York City’s Chancellor Richard Carranza (who we profiled as part of our 2015 class of Leaders To Learn From), a fascinating discussion of learning sciences and schools from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s Bror Saxberg, and frank conversations with several of our featured district leaders on the challenges of uprooting systemic inequities in their school systems.
Tell EdWeek about great district leaders you know: If you work with or know about a districtwide leader who is doing exceptional work on behalf of students, teachers, families, and communities, nominate them for Leaders To Learn From 2020!
