Tomorrow at noon Eastern, we here at Education Week Digital Directions will be hosting a text-based chat about how to integrate multimedia into core curricula. Glenn Wiebe, the social studies and technology curriculum specialist for the Educational Services and Staff Development Association of Central Kansas, and Al Byers, the assistant executive director of e-Learning and government partnerships for the National Science Teachers Association, will be joining yours truly for a discussion about how images, videos, and audio are being used to transform and enhance classroom lessons in a variety of subject areas. It’s completely free to sign up and participate, and we’d love to have you join.

The chat will follow up on the themes we touched on in our recently-released report “Multimedia Transformation.” There you will find stories about how multimedia is being used in arts, English, social studies, math, and science education, as well as stories about social networking and digital curricula repositories.
