Emergency-Room Visits for Youth-Sports Concussions Rapidly Rising

A children’s hospital in Cincinnati experienced a 92 percent increase in the number of emergency-room visits for sports-related traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) between 2002 and 2011, according to a study published online Monday in the journal .
