During an event this morning to discuss high school graduation rates, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan couldn’t help but weigh in on one of the biggest controversies to come across the sports world in years.
On Friday evening, TMZ published audiotapes allegedly featuring Donald Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, making racist remarks to his girlfriend, V. Stiviano. On Sunday, Deadspin released an extended version of said tapes, featuring more despicable remarks about his distaste for minorities.
