Last month I had a chance to participate in the first Ignite presentation series at the International Society of Technology in Education Conference. I shared with educators my talk on Will Free Benefit the Rich: Fighting for Technology Equity. In it, I explain my research on classroom wikis, how it helps us understand the evolving contours of the digital divide, and two specific ideas for educators to use in addressing the consequences of technology inequalities in their own schools and classrooms.
