A software company is offering a free webinar this month that will focus on brain research and language acquisition as well as provide information on how English-language learners in an Indiana school district have used the company’s software.

The live event hosted by the Chicago-based Learning Enhancement Corporation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Eastern time. Joining staff of the software company for the presentation will be Peggy Harrington, the director of bilingual programs for Hammond, Ind., public schools, and Ana Gomez, a coach for the school district’s bilingual program.

The web site for the company provides more information about the webinar.

The company describes BrainWare Safari, the software being used in Hammond, as technology for developing 41 cognitive skills, including memory, thinking, visual processing, and auditory processing.
