March 24, 2009  Recent data show that most states have made progress enacting policies related to the use of educational technology.

January 14, 2009  For the first time in its 13-year history, Quality Counts provides a comprehensive examination of state efforts to address the challenge of educating English-language learners (ELLs). Produced by Education Week and the EPE Research Center, Quality Counts 2009 maps the demographic trends of this diverse, rapidly growing group of students and highlights state policies that support English-learners.

December 31, 2008  The 13th annual edition of Education Week’s Quality Counts continues to track state policies across key areas of education and maintains the cradle-to-career framework launched two years ago.

June 11, 2008  As reported in Diplomas Count 2008, 38 states have a P-16 or P-20 council and two of these states—Louisiana and Pennsylvania—have two state-level councils.

May 30, 2008  To gain a better understanding of the growing number of groups working to align schooling from early childhood through higher education, the Education Commission of the States has compiled the most comprehensive database on state P-16 and P-20 councils now available.
