Turner Broadcasting System presents “Caribbean Cool,” a World of Audubon special profiling the efforts to save the endemic parrot populations of four Windward Islands. The hour-long program, hosted by actor Lou Gossett Jr., focuses on how schools on these small islands became a force in the environmental movement. The program airs at 10 p.m. (EST).

February 7, 14, 21, and 28.

The Learning Channel, in conjunction with the National Education Association, airs four new episodes of Teacher TV, now in its second season. This month’s programs will appear in the following order: “Throwing Out Rigid Structures,” “Higher Expectations: Foiling the Bell Curve,” “Restructured School: A Thorough Look,” and “Students and Teachers as Researchers.” The 30-minute segments air Sundays at 6 p.m. (EST).
