Stories to Solve by George Shannon contains many folktales that teachers can use to stimulate student problem-solving (Greenwillow Books, 1985). $12.95.

Homespun: Tales from America’s Favorite Storytellers, edited by Jimmy Neil Smith, includes a list of regional storytelling associations, a calendar of storytelling festivals, and print and audiovisual resources (Crown, 1988). $19.95.
