An Education Week analysis of data compiled by the U.S. Department of Education found that some schools suspended or expelled all or nearly all students without disabilities at least once during the 2009-10 school year, while others rarely used these forms of discipline. Note: Data on suspensions and expulsions include only students without disabilities. Schools with obvious data-entry errors—specifically, those with results that showed they suspended or expelled more students than they enrolled—were excluded.
