Fargo police investigate complaint of teacher hitting child

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fargo Public School District officials say a teacher has been suspended with pay after being accused of striking a special education student.

KFGO reports the teacher is accused of hitting the student on the shoulder at Centennial Elementary School recently. The student is enrolled in the early childhood special education program.

Fargo police are investigating and hope to be done their work on the case this week.
