7 students treated for pepper spray blast on school bus

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Several elementary school students have been treated after someone released pepper spray on a bus near Orlando.

Orange County Fire-Rescue officials posted on Twitter that six students were treated at the scene Tuesday morning and one was taken to a hospital for treatment.

News outlets report that Orange County Public Schools confirmed the bus was heading to Independence Elementary School when the incident occurred.

Officials haven't said who sprayed the pepper spray, or why.
