Indianapolis Prohibits Food Rewards for Students

A new wellness guideline in one of Indiana's largest districts bars teachers from rewarding student achievements with food.

The policy approved by the Indianapolis district over the summer is designed to create a healthier environment for students.

It says that instead of pizza parties, students might be rewarded with sports equipment for recess and board games for parties.
