An article in the Feb. 5, 2014, issue of Education Week about a U.S. Government Accountability Office report on teachers' sexual abuse of students used an outdated name for an advocacy group. Its current name is Stop Educator Sexual Abuse, Misconduct, and Exploitation, or SESAME.
An article on the 2014 elections in that same issue misstated the number of GOP governors. Currently, Republican governors lead 29 states.
A story on North Carolina's charter schools in the Jan. 29 issue misspelled the name of Eddie Goodall, the executive director of the North Carolina Public Charter Schools Association.
