The Commentary "Dear Data, Please Make Yourself More Useful" in the May 23, 2012, issue of Education Week cited the wrong publication date for an article on school data in Governing magazine. The article appeared in the February issue.

A photo that accompanied a story about charter school policy in the March 23 issue incorrectly identified the subject of a protest in Atlanta. Those pictured were demonstrating against legislation that would have restricted protests outside private residences.

A story about tensions between teachers' unions and education advocacy groups in the May 16 issue misstated the name of the Boston Teachers Union president. He is Richard Stutman.
