Phillips Academy Head Retiring

Barbara Landis Chase, the first woman to lead the private Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., announced last week that she will retire in 2012. Ms. Chase has been the head of school at Phillips Academy for 17 years. She previously served as headmistress of the Bryn Mawr School, in Baltimore.
