Nominee for Postsecondary Job

President Bush has nominated Diane Auer Jones as assistant secretary for postsecondary education at the Department of Education. Ms. Jones now serves as principal deputy assistant secretary for the office of postsecondary education. Ms. Jones would replace Sally L. Stroup, who left the department last year to work as a deputy staff director for the House Education and Labor Committee.
