Only about a third of 6-month to 2-year-old children in the United States received flu vaccinations during the 2004-05 flu season, says a report.

The report, published in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention periodical Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, used data from the 2005 National Immunization Survey. Of the 12,056 children in the survey, 33.4 percent had one dose of the flu vaccine and 17.8 percent were fully vaccinated.
