George H. Wood has been named the director of the Forum for Education and Democracy, a think tank based in Athens, Ohio, that promotes the role of education in a democracy. Mr. Wood will take a one-year leave of absence from his position as the principal of the 400-student Federal Hocking High School in Stewart, Ohio, to serve as director.
