N.J. Construction Chief Resigns
Jack Kocsis Jr. resigned last week as the the chairman of the New Jersey School Construction Corp., the agency that oversees the state’s $8 billion construction plan for needy districts. A state audit found that the SCC was poorly managed. Mr. Kocsis will stay on the SCC board. Acting Gov. Richard J. Codey, a Democrat, has named Alfred C. Koeppe, who heads a Newark, N.J., revitalization program, the SCC’s newchairman.
