James W. Dunn

James W. Dunn has been elected the president of the National School Public Relations Association.

Mr. Dunn, 55, is the director of communications services for the 8,200-student Liberty, Mo., public schools. He began his one-year term last month, succeeding Rick J. Kaufman, the executive director of public engagement for the 85,700-student Jefferson County, Colo., schools.

The Rockville, Md.-based association provides newsletters, journals, workshops, and seminars for its 2,000 members.
