Evaluation Bill Terminated

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed a measure that would have let teachers solicit voluntary, nonbinding evaluations from their students. The bill was backed by the California Teachers Association. But the governor said it would have interfered with teacher certification and evaluation rules.
