Proposed Rules
The Education Department, in the April 29 Federal Register, proposed to designate Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Russian as “critical foreign languages” under a grant program that aims to improve precollegiate instruction in foreign languages. Comments are due by May 29.
