C. Ronald Kimberling last week resigned his post as the Education Department’s assistant secretary for postsecondary education. He will become executive director of the California-based Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.
Mr. Kimberling, a native Californian, will supervise construction of Mr. Reagan’s Presidential library in Ventura County.
He had been at the department since 1981, earlier serving as an assistant to former Secretary of Education Terrel H. Bell and in management positions in the postsecondary-education office.
